TV projectors don't typically carry the same fanfare as their more-traditional counterparts. They're hard to accurately position and are more than not subjects of scrutiny when placed near any sunlight or even more powerful artificial options. But the ecosystem has improved over the last several months, and AWOL Vision is here to pioneer the sector.
The firm has just introduced its latest lineup of 4K ultra-short throw (UST) projectors, the LTV-3500 Pro and LTV-3000 Pro. While both are impressive products, the 3500 Pro definitely steals the show at IFA Belin, where the products are on full display at the company's booth, H20-109.
As mentioned, the LTV-3500 Pro stands as a testament to AWOL Vision's continued development in the projector industry. It leverages a 2.5x contrast ratio improvement, which will be integrated via a firmware update for all base LTV-2500 and LTV-3500 customers.

The LTV-3500 Pro will also feature Dolby Picture quality in tandem with the firm's triple laser technology. Which gifts the projector seemingly unlimited vibrancy and visuals in its color palette. AWOL boasts that even gamers will be impressed with the 3500 Pro's strumming color accuracy, allowing for cinematic experiences unlike any other found in one's home.
Additional features the LTV-3500 Pro brings to the table include HDR 10+, 3500 peak lumens, Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos audio support, Control4 integration, 4K display resolution, triple color laser projection, and F/2.0 Rico lens for incredible clarity in the projection itself.
Control4 integration allows AWOL's newest projectors to fit seamlessly into any end-user's preferred smart home ecosystem. The company's triple laser technology also gifts the new lineup an unprecedented color potential, with over a billion colors, covering 107% of the REC 2020 Color Gamut and 147% of DCI-P3 for incredible color accuracy, as well.
The LTV-3500 also comes equipped with 3D viewing. This means that you can watch select 3D Blu-ray or alternative films with a pair of active shutter 3D glasses for the most immersive in-home viewing experience imaginable. 3D viewing certainly isn't for everyone, but it's an interesting addition that could prove to be game-changing for incredible cinematic 4K experiences.
The entire specifications sheet can be found above and any additional information regarding the product will be on its landing page per the company's website. There is, as of yet, no indication of what the LTV-3500 or LTV-3000 will cost, but we will update this page with additional information as it rolls out from IFA Berlin.
