According to The Verge, Xgimi recently released the new Horizon Ultra projector model, which was said to be the first ever 4K long-throw projector with Dolby Vision. It also reportedly comes with a jaw-dropping HDR as part of its specs.
The all-in-one Android TV 11 projector will be priced below the $2,000 mark. It was reported that the Horizon Ultras also features a "Dual Light" laser with an LED hybrid light source.
The Projector Comes With a 77% Increase When Compared to the Previous Horizon Pro Projector
According to reports, the device packs a 27% increase when it comes to image brightness compared to the previous Horizon Pro projector, which was only capable of reaching 1,760 ISO lumens in terms of brightness.
The Verge reported that the brightness is measured at the bulb, and the image brightness still drops significantly the further the projection is away. However, the suggested new projector's maximum distance was up to 200 inches.
The Projector Costs $1,699 for the Newer Horizon Ultra 4K Projector
It was reported that the projector does not come with the ability for users to turn off individual pixels for the projection to display true blacks. Because of this, the outlet reported that this opens up room for skepticism regarding the projector coming with an HDR offering as a noticeable improvement to the projectors, which have different price ranges.
Given that the Horizon Ultra is still considered very bright, the projector's price is placed at $1,699. It could be an excellent way for more people to buy it and build their home theater or for other uses.
