The Internationale Funkausstellung Berlin 2020, popularly known as IFA, is pushing through with its event to showcase the latest brands, releases, and innovations in the world of consumer electronics despite the strict prohibitions and restrictions brought by the Novel coronavirus or COVID-19. The IFA 2020 will see the likes of the strongest technology on mobile connection, 5G, and manufacturers like Huawei.
The IFA 2020 will take place in Berlin, Germany, which has done so in the past years, with the country's prohibitions on the global pandemic. It will allow them to hold the convention to a limited number of 4,000 mass participants.
This year's IFA will be called the 'IFA 2020 Special Edition' and will be catering mostly to the Business-to-Business platform (B2B) rather than opening it up for the public. Mass gatherings are still not allowed in the country. However, the organizers made it possible to continue with the event while respecting and observing the country's regulations on mass gatherings.
IFA 2020 invites the technology companies, brands, manufacturers, retailers, innovators, and the media to their event physically. However, it will be closed to the general public. Most mobile and technology releases are released digitally during the pandemic, and IFA will also let people experience their tech convention.
Worry not, the public is invited digitally, through the IFA 2020 XTENDED SPACE. Details on the digital preview event will be announced by IFA soon on their website.
The public and organizers are more than a week away from the target event dates that will launch on Friday, September 3, and will go on until Sunday, September 5.
