Android users switching to iPhones are now increasing in number.
This was revealed by the latest survey conducted by the Consumer Intelligence Research Partners. In the past few days, numerous studies and surveys claimed that Android users are only transferring to iPhones because of the advanced iMessage.
As years passed by, new studies revealed that there's more than one reason why Android consumers are switching to iOS smartphones.
Now, CIRP revealed more diverse factors that contribute to Android users' decisions to switch to iPhones.
Android Users Switching To iPhones are Increasing in Numbers!
On May 9, CIRP released a study showing the trend of Android users moving to the iPhone.
Based on the agency's recent survey, iPhone users were already switching from an Android smartphone to an iOS handset.
They peaked back in 2016, with 21% of iPhone users saying they were originally Android users before switching to iOS.
However, this 21% gradually decreased in the following years. Android users switching to iPhones even decreased by 10%.
However, in 2022, they increased in numbers once more, reaching 11%. Now, CIRP's latest survey revealed that Android users switching to iPhones between March 2022 and March 2023 increased to 15%.
CIRP said that they are seeing an upward trend when it comes to the Android-to-iPhone transition. But why?
Why do Android Users Switch to iPhones?
According to Apple Insider's latest report, CIRP provided the diverse factors behind Android-to-iPhone transitions.
Here are the four reasons why Android users now prefer to use iPhone models:
- Community connectivity: Android users prefer to have a smartphone that offers a seamless connectivity experience.
- New features: Android users are looking for more advanced features, such as better cameras, a more user-friendly interface, etc.
- Android's issues: Android users said that their previous smartphones weren't able to meet their needs.
- Cost considerations: Android users said that they find new iPhones more affordable compared to next-gen Android handsets.
