Apple hasn't confirmed the exact release date of the new iPhone 15.
But, based on the recent launch schedules of Apple, the next-gen iOS smartphone lineup could just be months away.
As of writing, the giant gadget maker hasn't shared any major detail about the new iPhone 15.
Although this is the case, numerous tech enthusiasts already shared their predictions. Aside from rumors, iPhone 15 dummies are also appearing online. This means that the design for the new iPhone 15 lineup is becoming clearer.
iPhone 15 Dummies Now Appearing!
According to Toms Guide's latest report, the appearances of iPhone dummies are big deal.
Dummies are commonly used to show the dimensions and details of new products so that cases and other accessories can be made. Before the iPhone 14 lineup was released, numerous dummies for it also became rampant.
Recent news stated that iPhone 14 dummies were accurate since they were able to predict the design of the iOS handsets.
Now, tech experts said that the latest iPhone 15 dummies could be accurate as well.
This means that the design of these dummy devices has a high chance of matching the official look of the new iPhone 15 units.
What iPhone 15 Dummies Look Like
The iPhone 15 dummies were first revealed by MacRumors via its official YouTube channel.
Based on the source's official video, the dummies' looks are quite similar to the design of the iPhone 14. However, there are some notable changes. One of these is the removal of the Lightning ports.
Instead, the iPhone 15 dummies have USB-C ports, which hints that Apple is taking its USB-C effort to the next level. Aside from this, the mute switch was replaced by a new button as well; with it possibly being an Action button.
