OpenAI CEO Favors AI Regulations?

Forbes reported that OpenAI CEO Sam Altman urges U.S. lawmakers to create AI regulations.

However, after the European Union proposed a new AI legislation, Altman became concerned after he saw the existing legislation draft.

Altman even claimed that the current draft of the EU AI Act is "over-regulating."

Because of this, he said that they are prepared to halt their operations in Europe if ever they can't comply with the upcoming AI regulation.

"If we can comply, we will, and if we can't, we'll cease operating... We will try. But there are technical limits to what's possible," said OpenAI's CEO.
