China-made Tesla Model Y is far cheaper compared to the EV units manufactured in the U.S.
A U.S.-made Tesla Model Y costs around $46,000 (61,990 CAD), which is 22% more expensive than the price of China-made EV models.
However, one of the major concerns of U.S.-based consumers is the quality of made-in-China Tesla cars.
As of press time, the safety standards and quality control of these China-manufactured Tesla EVs are still unknown.
Consumers and critics are still waiting for the official statement of the automaker regarding the quality of its China-made Tesla units.
