A smaller Microsoft Surface Pro might be on the works, an unknown source reveals, according to Windows Central. The exclusive report also says that aside from the 11-inch laptop, the Redmond giant is also planning to release a Surface Go 4 with Arm processors.
Microsoft Plans to Release Smaller Surface Pro in Late 2023
Zac Bowden, a senior editor at Windows Central claims that Microsoft is now working on a Surface Pro with an 11-inch display. It's somewhat smaller compared to the previous models and it will be the smallest by the time it becomes available for purchase.
The report suggests that it will share the same shape with the Surface Go. However, the upcoming laptop will feature slimmer bezels and 120Hz refresh rate.
Additionally, the downsized Surface Pro carries the Luxor codename, according to The Verge. While its size is downgraded, don't let its design fool you since it will be more powerful for a budget-friendly option.

Microsoft to Ship Arm-powered Surface Go 4
It appears that this year, we are not only getting the Surface Pro tablet. According to the recent story by XDA Developers, Microsoft is also preparing to release a Surface Go 4 with Arm-based configuration.
As we know, the previous models rely on Intel chips, but this particular product will be coming with Qualcomm Snapdragon 7c-based processor. It makes sense since the company plans to keep up with its competitors like in the case of Dell which recently unveiled its first laptop with Arm chip.
Despite the fact that it will be powered by Arm, the Microsoft Surface Go 4 will still come with an Intel chip. This could be a separate version for those who want to stick with it.
The timeframe for the arrival of Surface Pro is not yet finalized, but we could likely see it coming this fall.
Meanwhile, the Surface Go 4 is previously rumored to be launching in spring. If that does not happen, we might see it hitting shelves this fall-the same date with the upcoming laptop.
