Xiaomi, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer, has unveiled the Xiaomi 13 Ultra. The phone, which is part of the Xiaomi 13 series, was released in China on Tuesday, April 18. According to the company's founder, Lei Jun, the device will soon be available globally.

The phone is intended to compete with Samsung's Galaxy S23 Ultra and has a number of impressive features. Take a look at these key specs first shared by GSMArena.
The Xiaomi 13 Ultra has a 6.73-inch high-resolution display and the fastest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor on the market.
The phone also has a 5,000-mAh battery that supports both wired and wireless charging.
It has an IP68 rating, which means it is resistant to dust and water. Additionally, the device comes in three interesting leather finishes: green, black, and white.

The camera on the phone is its most notable feature. CNET tells us that the device has four 50-megapixel rear cameras that were co-developed with Leica.
The primary camera has a 1-inch Sony sensor and a variable aperture that allows users to switch between f/1.9 and f/4.0. This feature will enable users to have more control over their images, especially when it comes to depth of field.
The other three rear cameras include an ultrawide sensor and two with optical zoom of 3.2x and 5.2x, respectively.

The screen on the phone is an LTPO3 AMOLED with 1 B colors and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The display is also Dolby Vision and HDR10+ compatible, with a brightness of 1300 nits (HBM) and 2600 nits (peak). The device is powered by Android 13 and MIUI 14.
The Xiaomi 13 Ultra has an aluminum frame, a Gorilla Glass Victus glass front, and an eco-leather back. It weighs 227 grams and has dimensions of 163.2 x 74.6 x 9.1mm.
The phone is a dual SIM device with Nano-SIM support and dual standby. It also supports GSM, CDMA, HSPA, EVDO, and LTE connectivity.

The quad rear cameras on the Xiaomi 13 Ultra can record 8K video at 24fps, 4K video at 24/30/60fps, and 1080p video at 30/60/120/240/480/960/1920fps. In addition, the phone has gyro-EIS, Dolby Vision HDR, and a dual-LED flash.
The front-facing camera on the device is a single 32-megapixel sensor with an f/2.0 aperture and a 22mm wide angle lens. In addition, the phone has a 3D TOF (Time of Flight) sensor for depth perception.
How Much Is the Xiaomi 13 Ultra?
The Xiaomi 13 Ultra with 256GB storage costs 5,999 yuan (approximately $875) in China. Its global release date has not yet been announced, but some sources say it will be this month.
