Apple Books finally offer vertical manga webtoons! However, not everyone can buy them.
For years, manga fans have been waiting for Apple to allow them to buy manga webtoons. Finally, the iPhone maker launched a new enhancement to enable just that.
With the arrival of its new Apple Books Manga Store tab, users can now purchase their favorite manga webtoons.

Apple Books Offers Vertical Manga Webtoons!
Unfortunately, the new Apple Books Manga Store tab is exclusive in Japan. This means that only Japanese customers can access this new feature.

"Japanese customers can access the 'Vertical Reading Manga' page from the 'Manga Store' tab of the Apple Books application on iPhone, iPad, and Mac," explained Apple via Apple Insider.
The iPhone maker stated that manga vertical reading's popularity in Japan is increasing. This is why Apple decided to launch the new Manga Store tab feature.
Apple said they are delighted to bring this new entertainment experience to Japanese consumers.
As of writing, the giant tech firm hasn't confirmed if it will roll out this new feature to the United States and other markets.
What Manga Fans Can Expect
On its official Apple Newsroom blog post, the iPhone developer said they would distribute a selection of vertical-reading manga series.
These webtoons are produced by the Korea-based studio KENAZ. As of press time, KENAZ is making over 180 webtoons per year.
Japanese consumers can enjoy numerous webtoons categories on Apple Books; romance, fantasy, action, etc.
Apple announced that the first three episodes of domestic and non-domestic exclusive webtoons series could be accessed for free.
