"League of Legends" minions rework is expected to happen soon after Riot Games confirmed that they are considering working on it.
For the past years, Riot Games hasn't really changed how minions work in the Summoner's Rift.
The only thing that the giant game developer adjusted is how the minions are powered up.
In the old days, players could enhance their minion waves by using the summoner spells Rally and Promote; these were removed because they were too OP for many gamers.
In the latest version of "LoL," the only way that gamers can power up their minions is through the Baron buff. But the minion's rework might change this.
'League of Legends' Minions Rework
According to Dexerto's latest report, Riot Games is now considering changing the way minions work in "The League of Legends."

These minion adjustments are expected to be rolled out in the 2024 "LoL" Preseason.
This plan was discussed by Riot Games Lead Champion Designer Bryan Salvatore (aka Axes) and Riot Games Game Designer Matthew Leung-Harrison (aka Phroxzon).
"Preseason (no promises to ship anything, but we're exploring it) is towards creating some better ability to tune roles more holistically against each other," they said via their official blog post.
They added that one of their plans to make this happen is by differentiating "League of Legends" minions in each lane.
What Minion Changes Can You Expect?
Axes and Phroxzon didn't specify the minion changes that Riot Games will roll out in the upcoming 2024 "League of Legends" Preseason.
But there's a chance that Riot Games could consider bringing back the "Banner of Command" item or making similar items that can directly buff minions.
Aside from items, Riot Games could also follow the mechanics in "Mobile Legends," with each lane offering different benefits. For example, there will be the XP and gold lanes.
As of writing, these will all remain speculations until Riot Games confirms them.
In other stories, gamers criticized the so-called "League of Legends" filler skins. Meanwhile, Riot Games confirmed the new "League of Legends" April Fools game mode.
