Maggie Rogers Wants You to Buy Her Concert Tickets In-Person, Also to Outwit the Bots

Ticket bots are notorious, but Maggie Rogers is smarter.

Maggie Rogers is not making the same mistakes as other artists who had a concert before her, for her sake, and the sake of her fans to avoid the online ticket-selling fiasco rid of bots and fake accounts. The American pop star is now inviting her fans and concert attendees to buy the ticket in-person, going live by Friday, April 7.

There have been massive incidents regarding buying tickets online, with Ticketmaster and its notorious ticketing system that has been rid of significant issues, including bots that hoard and leave people without access to legitimate ones.

The singer-songwriter's website now invites the public to buy her tickets in person, at box office locations to gain access once the time comes for her performance to thousands of fans in the country. Maggie Rogers is inviting the public to come and buy tickets for her concert "like its 1965," starting this Friday, April 7.

Different purchase locations are available for this in-person ticket selling, depending on their location and preferred dates.

The concert dates for the European leg of the tour do not have the box office option and allow the online ticket sale to occur.

Only the American leg of the tour features the box office feature, and for people who cannot come on the said in-person purchases, there is an available online pre-sale special access code from the organizers and the artist themselves.

The pre-sale will begin by April 7, and general availability would sell by April 14.

Ticketmaster's Issues on Online Ticket Selling

According to Engadget, the Ticketmaster issue has been a massive hindrance to several concerts, events, and other showcases from taking place normally in the country. Many are already pushing the company to cease its operations today, especially with the massive damages it caused to consumers and artists with its bot-rid platform.

Ticket Bots Plague the Internet

While the issue with bots on the internet has been a long-time problem for different industries, what started it all was the issue with the renowned singer-songwriter from Nashville, Tennessee herself, Taylor Swift. The award-winning artist also denounced what happened over at Ticketmaster for the fiasco on the ticket sales for "The Eras Tour," which saw a massive demand from fans all over North America.

Ticketmaster also faced a Mexico antitrust case for selling fake tickets on its platform for the Bad Bunny concert, centering on legitimate purchases by the public made through its platform. Concertgoers were denied entry by the gate, saying they have fake tickets, but claimed to have bought this via Ticketmaster, with Profeco looking to sue the company.

With the massive problems now over at Ticketmaster, one of the largest ticket distribution companies in the country, artists and event organizers are left to look for alternatives to it, including having people come to buy tickets in person.

Maggie Rogers wants you to get a legitimate ticket to her concert and not face any problems once the day comes, encouraging the public to buy in-person from box offices, like its 1965.
