A new "League of Legends" April Fools game mode has been confirmed by Riot Games via its official Twitter account.
Recently, gaming enthusiasts were unsure if the game developer will roll out a special game mode for April Fools month.
However, Riot Games finally answered the questions of its fans.
"Something weird is going on in blind pick mode starting at midnight..." said the game developer via its Twitter announcement.
New 'League of Legends' April Fools Game Confirmed!
According to Dot Esports' latest report, the new April Fools game mode will change the "League of Legends" Blind Mode.
In the official Twitter video of Riot Games, it can be seen that the Summoner's Rift will be invaded by a swarm of fluffy poros.
Aside from these, the footage also revealed that there will be hats that gamers can collect. These hats will fall whenever an enemy or teammate is eliminated.
Hats and poros are not the only changes that gamers can see in the new "League of Legends" April Fools game mode.
Turrets and neutral monsters also gained the ability to emote at "LoL" heroes when they are near them.
As of writing, Riot Games hasn't shared the new game mode's exact mechanics. But, based on the hats, there's a chance that the new April Fools game mode will focus on the team with the highest number of collected hats.
Of course, this will still remain speculation until the game developer officially confirms it.
New 'LoL' April Fools Skins
Aside from the new game mode, Riot Games will also roll out new April Fools "League of Legends" skins.
These new cosmetics are expected to be released a day after the upcoming "LoL" Patch 13.7, which will roll out on Apr. 5.
The lucky characters receiving the new "League of Legends" April Fools skins include Nidalee, Kled, Yuumi, and Kindred.
In other news, many fans were disappointed by the new "League of Legends" Xayah and Rakan skins.
We also reported about the "League of Legends" Zyra rework, which will have only minor changes.
