The new "League of Legends" Quick Play game mode is now being tested by Riot Games.
This in-game enhancement was recently confirmed by Pu "Pupulasers" Liu, Riot Games' director.
"We want to evolve that into Quick Play to give you guys what you want about the blind pick, in a better way," said Liu via Esports.Net.
As of writing, the Summoner's Rift still relies on Blind Pick. However, this game mode faces criticism because of the chaos it creates.
Now, the new Quick Play game mode is expected to fix this problem by promoting a more harmonious gaming experience.
New 'League of Legends' Quick Play Game Mode Now Tested!
According to Dot Esports' latest report, the new Quick Play game mode is expected to replace the Blind Pick mode.
Unlike Blind Pick, the new Quick Play is expected to find games faster, allowing players to get into action quickly. Another advantage of Quick Play is that it allows players to select their champion even before the game is found.
Pupulasers confirmed that players will be able to choose their favorite role or champion. Before the next game starts, one of these choices will be guaranteed.
The Riot Games director added that gamers can choose either the character or the role they prefer before jumping into the next game.
Quick Play to Offer Better Game Experience
Based on the benefits it provides, the new "League of Legends" Quick Play will allow gamers to try new roles and new champions easier.
This will be the first game mode that allows players to skip the champion selection.
As of writing, Riot Games hasn't confirmed an official release date. But, the game developer said that it will try rolling out the new game mode to multiple regions this 2023.
If your region hasn't received the new Quick Play game mode yet, the best thing you can do is wait for it to arrive. Aside from the new Quick Play, Riot Games is also busy with its other in-game enhancements for "LoL."
Recently, rumors claimed that the new Leesin and Teemo visual reworks are already under development. We also reported about the arrival of the new "League of Legends" Heartthrob and Heartache skins.
