The recent move by Blizzard to make the Big Battle Bear mount widely available to all Amazon Prime subscribers promotes the idea of accessibility in WoW mount collecting.

Unlocking the Spectral Tiger for Free: Blizzard's Attempt to Make the Rare Mount Accessible for All

While this may be an attempt to draw more players to the game, the move could also have much to do with making the game's most iconic and rare mounts more widely available to collectors, who can now enjoy these exclusive mounts without having to pay exorbitant prices.

According to the story by Game Spot, it's no secret that the "World of Warcraft Trading Card Game" (WoW TCG) can be a pricey hobby, with some mounts sold at prices so expensive that they can only be considered investment worthy.

The most sought-after and expensive of this mount is the Spectral Tiger, listed on sites like eBay for over $4,000. However, for players looking to start adding to their mount collection, Blizzard has made a rare mount from the card game available for free to Amazon Prime subscribers.

Claim the Big Battle Bear Without a Code - Now Available to Amazon Prime Members

The mount, known as the Big Battle Bear, was previously claimed using a code found on a physical card pulled from an old expansion of the Trading Card Game (TCG). However, the code is no longer necessary, as Amazon Prime members can link their accounts with Twitch to receive the mount.

Players not Prime members can still claim the amount by signing up for a 30-day free trial with Amazon Prime. The offer is part of a promotion related to the release of WoW's new Dragonflight expansion. The official World of Warcraft website lets buyers claim the deal from Amazon.

The Free Big Battle Bear Offer - An Opportunity to Expand Your Collection for Less

In the lead-up to the expansion, Blizzard also ran a similar promotion, with Twitch viewers able to claim the Feldrake mount free of charge. While the giveaway was well received, those who had spent thousands of dollars to obtain the Feldrake through the TCG felt somewhat betrayed by the decision.

Nevertheless, many "World of Warcraft" mount collectors will be happy to hear that a once-rare item is now more readily available. The free Big Battle Bear offer will last until April 27, giving players an opportunity to expand their mount collection without breaking the bank.

The Rise of Virtual Mount Collecting with Amazon Prime Benefits

Of course, those hoping for the same deal to be offered for the hugely-popular Spectral Tiger will have to continue to wait patiently for more news from Blizzard.

Players who have spent thousands of dollars on the Spectral Tiger may still be frustrated. Still, for many other players, this could be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to own the game's rarest and most coveted mount.

It remains to be seen how Blizzard will structure the availability of the Spectral Tiger. Still, subscribers of Amazon Prime have already gotten a glimpse of what could be the future of WoW mount collecting.
