Elon Musk's sudden decision to give its Twitter verification a deadline disappointed many Twitter users.
On May Tuesday, Mar. 28, the billionaire suddenly announced that only verified Twitter accounts will be able to appear on the social media platform's "For You Page."
If this is true, then Twitter accounts with no blue check marks will not be able to have their content on the FYP section.
This is a major issue since Twitter's verification marks are no longer free. Now, here's what Twitter users say about the sudden announcement of Elon Musk.

He added that Twitter users have until Apr. 15 to get their accounts verified. The CEO further stated that this sudden plan will address the spread of AO bot swarms across the platform.
However, many users are not happy with the announcement. In the comment section, many consumers shared their disappointments.
One of them explained that Elon is forcing Twitter users to pay for the Twitter Blue service, which costs $7 per month.
Another one said that instead of forcing Twitter users to subscribe to Twitter Blue, the social media company should invest its money into talent and AI technology to detect bots.
While many Twitter users complained, individuals bashed the decision of Elon.
One of them stated that the billionaire's plan is devaluing the Twitter platform.
Despite all the criticisms he is receiving right now, Elon Musk seems to be unbothered. He even replies to them with the price of the Twitter Blue subscription.

Twitter: Getting Verified Before Vs. After Elon Musk Takeover
CNBC reported that Twitter blue check marks were free before Elon Musk acquired Twitter.
The social media platform verifies accounts as a way to identify them if they match real people or companies.
Most Twitter accounts that receive verifications are those belonging to journalists, celebrities, government officials, and organizations.
However, after the billionaire took over, he decided to change this system. Instead of relying on Twitter staff to actually verify Twitter accounts, he decided to launch Twitter Blue.
This subscription service, which costs $7 per month, will allow anyone (if they meet the platform's eligibility requirements) to be verified.
In other news, the Twitter Blue relaunch allegedly made millions of dollars in revenue. We also reported that Twitter's two-factor authentication is no longer free.
