Google recently updated Fitbit's services, one that would help people experience more of the app without having to worry about subscriptions and payments, particularly with the platform's Health Metrics Dashboard. Previously, it was hidden behind a paywall that people with a Fitbit premium subscription can only access.
However, the team now wants to improve health access for all, to experience a better health and fitness tracking companion with their Fitbit devices.
Fitbit Expands Health Metrics Dashboard Access to All Users
Google's "The Check Up," an annual health event from the company, brought exciting news to Fitbit users, as it now opens up the accessibility to its Health Metrics Dashboards to all users. This means that the service is now free to access for all owners of the smartwatch, to monitor their health, information, and data.
"Health Metrics Dashboard helps you uncover changes and trends in your breathing rate, skin temperature, blood oxygen and more. With this update, you will be able to see trends over longer periods of time and get at-a-glance insights about what metrics changed from their baseline," says Dr. Karen DeSalvo, Google's Chief Health officer.

No More Subscriptions for Fitbit's Health Metrics Data
Dr. DeSalvo said that this Fitbit feature would be available without any subscriptions, but it is best to look into its availability of the features in one's region.
According to Android Central, the previous feature of the free access to the Health Metrics Dashboard is that the data is only available for a week, unlike those with subscriptions.
Now, people would be able to see their health trends for a longer period.
Fitbit and its Fitness Features
One of the most famous tech wearables in the world is Fitbit and is because its device and app are universal to any smartphone platform, unlike that of others. It is also one of the most advanced in the industry, together with the AFib monitor that checks the person's heartbeat, looking into any irregularities it could report for earlier prevention.
Owners of the Fitbit wearables may also utilize the smartwatch to monitor their sleep, especially for those who account for their sleeping data and patterns when they are resting.
It is known that Fitbit, previously acquired by Google, also offers Android connectivity, particularly with the Health Support available on smartphones.
Fitbit is one of the most ideal tech wearables in the industry because of its many features and uses that will help in both fitness and health tracking needs. Users are now in for a treat from Google and the company, especially as it expands its Health Metrics Dashboard access to all users, without any paywalls or subscriptions to mind.
