Verizon and Netflix are teaming up once more to offer a one-year free Netflix Premium subscription plan to those who purchase at least one annual subscription from Verizon's +play hub.
The offer will be available to Verizon wireless, 5G Home, and LTE Home customers beginning March 12. This offer is the companies' attempt to lure more subscribers. What subscribers will get: Verizon says it will save customers $240 a year!
Verizon's +play Hub
Verizon stated in a press release that it is thrilled to bring back the exclusive offer for a year of Netflix Premium through +play. With +play, Verizon makes it easy for customers to access all the content they desire in a single place while offering savings and deals not available elsewhere.
In recent years, Verizon has focused on expanding its content offerings.
The +play hub provides customers with access to multiple subscriptions. In addition to leading streaming services like Disney+, Hulu, ESPN+, Discovery, HBO Max, and Xbox Game Pass, eligible options include AMC+, STARZ, and even Super Duolingo.
Notably, the Netflix Premium plan is highly advantageous since it provides customers with ad-free streaming and the ability to watch on up to four screens simultaneously. It also offers 4K Ultra HD content and the option to download content for offline viewing.
In addition to the Netflix Premium plan offer, +play provides exclusive discounts on other top-rated services such as Calm, a popular meditation and sleep app, and Peloton, a popular fitness app. Customers now have even more options with the addition of new partners such as MasterClass and Paramount+.
Verizon Adds More Partners
Verizon also recently added ten new partners to the +play platform.
Blue Apron, FlixLatino, KOCOWA+, Hallmark TV, Marquee TV, MasterClass, Paramount+, Quello Concerts by Stingray, UP Faith, and Family, and Wondrium are among those included.

What about the payment? According to Verizon, these services are automatically added to a customer's Verizon bill.
If a customer already has a Netflix subscription, they can transfer it to +play in exchange for a free subscription. If a customer has a third-party subscription unavailable on +play, they must cancel it and establish a new one through +play.
ComicBook.com tells us that Verizon will promote the offer with an ad during the Oscars on Sunday, March 12. This gives fans more time to arrange their subscription service portfolios before signing up at Verizon's +play hub on March 12.
