New Strict Netflix Password Sharing Rules in the US Are Just Errors
According to Apple Insider's latest report, the new Netflix password-sharing policies appeared on the company's Help Center.

However, they were removed on Wednesday, Feb. 1. Aftermath, many users were confused since the streaming giant had already confirmed that they would be rolled out in 2023.
To answer the questions, a Netflix spokesperson explained why these new password-sharing rules were pulled out.
He said that these new policies were supposed to be only for Peru, Costa Rica, and Chile. The official added that they accidentally released them to other countries, including the U.S., as well.
Netflix quickly took action by updating its official Help Center website.
The spokesperson reassured users that they would be informed by the streaming giant first before any change is implemented in the platform.

Time Magazine reported that Netflix is expected to roll out its new password-sharing rules across the globe in 2023.
The company plans to do this by the end of March. Of course, this is still a tentative schedule.
For those who want to know how these new strict policies will work, Netflix said that subscribers will soon be required to verify their home devices each month.
The streaming giant will also encourage users to have other Netflix accounts for their gadgets used outside their houses.
This means that devices that are used outside will be blocked from accessing Netflix accounts that are already linked to gadgets inside homes.
