VEGAS, NEVADA - JANUARY 06: Sony 8K televisions are displayed at a Sony press event for CES 2020 at the Las Vegas Convention Center on January 6, 2020 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Sony has recently unveiled its portfolio of 4K televisions, and the advancements are noteworthy. Its newest QD-OLED A95L, Mini-LED X95L, and Full-Array Sony X90L are all brighter and more beautiful than their predecessors!

QD-OLED A95L

IGN said that although the Sony A95K's technology was a pleasant surprise in 2022, this year's A95L promises to be even more impressive, with an increased brightness of up to 200%. The new Sony QD-OLED is supposed to be twice as bright, contributing to enhanced color saturation.

Instead of choosing an LCD TV for a bright room or an OLED set for a dark room, Sony's primary aim with the A95L is to make it the optimal TV for every space.

This year's Sony A95L is one of the nicest-looking screens and is now available in a larger 77-inch screen size.

The A95L has an upgraded camera with artificial intelligence (AI) to detect and follow individuals. In response, the camera will optimize the left and right-side contrast and volume levels.

Mini-LED X95L

Sony's newest Micro LED TV, the X95L, will only be available at an enormous 85-inch display size. The new model's brighter and higher-contrast image results from a bigger screen and 30% more local dimming zones, as Engadget reported.

Full-Array Sony X90L

With 60% more local dimming zones and 30% greater overall brightness, the new Sony X90L midrange TV is a significant leap over last year's stunning Sony X90K. The more backlighting zones there are, the more contrast there will be and the deeper the blacks will be.

The Sony X90L has been modernized with a 98-inch screen and metal accents on the edges.

Specs for Video Games

According to IGN, Sony's XR range of TVs for 2023 has the same gaming characteristics that were first seen on its Inzone gaming monitors, such as the Inzone M9 and Inzone M3.

First, a new Game Menu UI appears at the bottom of the screen, quite similar to the Game Bar on Samsung TVs. Your picture's Motion Blur Reduction, Black Equalizer, and other settings are all customizable.

If you want a permanent targeting reticle on the screen, you may activate a virtual crosshair. A dot or a larger target symbol may be shown in the center of the crosshairs to help you keep track of your aim.

Sony's screen size feature reduces picture size. On an 85-inch TV, playing fighting or multiplayer shooters on a smaller screen may save your life. Reduce the screen size to prevent head rotation.

This year, the PS5's Auto HDR Tone Mapping will enable the next Sony TVs to optimize the HDR picture based on PS5 data. Furthermore, the TV's Auto Genre Picture Mode may alter the visual settings mechanically depending on the kind of game or stream you are currently seeing.

Sony's 2023 TV range's cost and availability are yet unknown.
