Sky is currently looking for potential testers who want to experiment with the new upgrades for "Sky Go."
If you're interested in entering this special program, the British broadcasting company has specific requirements that you need to consider first before you participate in the early test.
Sky is Searching For Gamers
According to a report by The Sun, Sky is planning to roll out its own streaming app soon. As of writing, the telecommunications firm is searching for gamers who want to partake in the experimental test of the app.
Sky says that Sky Go will be accessible on many devices including Android and iOS smartphones, and gaming consoles such as Xbox and PS5.
Requirements to Become a Sky Go Tester
Since the company is specifically looking for those who have gaming consoles, the Sky Go app will cater to the needs of the gamers in the initial trial.
If you have PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X or S, you can join the program. Sky says that some customers can still participate even if they have last-gen consoles such as Xbox One and PS4.
At the time, Sky did not disclose any details about the program. The TV giant might announce additional information about this upgrade in the next few days or weeks.
"Thank you for showing an interest in trials, now for the exciting part, please create your profile by adding your devices within your household," the application page says.
Sky adds that the more devices a user lists for the trial, the more opportunity he/she could receive for "varied trial invitations."
Of course, you will be required to make an extended profile if you think that you are capable of testing the Sky Go app.
