Elon Musk warned about ChatGPT and the use of other AI models.
The billionaire even claimed that artificial intelligence is the biggest threat to humanity.
This is surprising since the tech CEO is one of the co-founders of OpenAI; the company behind ChatGPT.
Now, it seems like Elon is against the rise of artificial intelligence. Here's what he said about ChatGPT.
Elon Musk Warns About ChatGPT
According to Independent UK's latest report, Elon Musk posted a tweet with a link to an article about ChatGPT.
In his viral Twitter post, he quoted the statement made by ChatGPT about it being a perfect AI.
The chatbot said that it is perfect and claimed it makes no mistakes.
The AI model added that if there are errors, it is because of external factors, such as server issues, user inputs, web results, or network failures.
Although ChatGPT didn't mention humans, its statements clearly state that the imperfect ones are the users (people).
After quoting ChatGPT's statements, Elon Musk compared the chatbot to the AI in "System Shock."
"Sounds eerily like the AI in System Shock that goes haywire & kills everyone," said the billionaire via his official Twitter post.
AI is Humanity's Biggest Threat?
Elon Musk is not only warning about ChatGPT. He is also pertaining to other AI models and other similar technologies.
During the World Government Summit in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, the billionaire made a bold statement.
He said that one of the biggest risks to human civilization is AI, as reported by CNBC.
Musk added that AI is both negative and positive, saying that this technology promises great outcomes.
However, the tech CEO warned that the use of artificial intelligence models also comes with great danger.
Musk is not the only individual cautious about the use of AIs. Many critics are also against these models because of the risks they pose.
For example, the Stable Diffusion AI lawsuit is expected to create issues with copyright infringement if the court favors the fair use argument.
Because of the expected consequences of AIs, many experts are making efforts to create tools that can negate them.
Recently, we reported about the arrival of a new anti-AI art generator tool that can protect artists.
