The new Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra's features were recently unveiled by the electronics consumer giant in the recent Galaxy Unpacked 2023.
One of the main features that the tech firm boasted of is the new camera enhancements of the Galaxy S23 Ultra.
But, this is not the only improvement that users need to consider. Tech experts said that the new Galaxy S23 Ultra also has a display that is energy sufficient.
Is it better than the screen of iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max?
Galaxy S23 Ultra Vs. iPhone 14 Pro Display
According to Gizmochina's latest report, Galaxy S23 Ultra's panel consumes less energy compared to iPhone 14 Pro/Max's display.
This allows the new Android device to have longer battery life compared to its iOS competitors. This detail was shared by Dylan Raga, a full-stack web developer.
"The #SamsungS23Ultra is using a unique set of OLED luminescent materials I haven't seen before," he explained via his official Twitter post.
He explained that there's a divergence in the individual emitters, making the material classification in S23 Ultra's panel more complicated.
Raga said that there are M11 blue materials, but there's also a broader green emission compared to M12.
He added that the combinations of these materials allow the AMOLED display of the S23 Ultra to consume less energy.
Aside from the unusual material combination, S23 Ultra also has software optimization. This also helps it to achieve more screen-time than other iOS and Android models.
Why This is Big Deal for S23 Ultra?
The unique AMOLED tech used by Samsung for its Galaxy S23 Ultra is a big deal for the tech giant.
This is because the S23 Ultra doesn't have major hardware upgrades. Because of this, users weren't really expecting much from its hardware performance, such as battery life. But, with the advanced AMOLED, consumers can use the new Galaxy S23 Ultra longer than expected.
In other news, the new Oppo Find N2 Flip is expected to receive the Android 17 update. We also reported about Realme GT3's arrival, which is expected to happen on Feb. 28.
