Samsung Galaxy S23 Series Surfaces Online: Some Consumers Already Get Their Pre-Orders

Check out the Samsung Galaxy S23 series.

The Samsung Galaxy S23 was recently launched, with sales slated to begin on February 17th. However, early adopters have reported an infuriating issue - they have difficulty pairing their phones with Android Auto.

Reports of Early Connection Issues With Android Auto on the Samsung Galaxy S23 Series Phones

As the Samsung Galaxy S23 series phones are coming up for launch on the 17th of February, many consumers who ordered their phones early have already begun to face connection issues with the Android Auto function.

User complaints were first reported on Google's Android Auto Help Community and Reddit and have since been picked up by the tech blog 9to5Google, which has reported on the widespread problem.

Android Auto Connectivity Difficulties with the Galaxy S23 Series

Samsung's newly-launched Galaxy S23 series started hitting the market on February 17th, with pre-order customers getting their phones earlier. Unfortunately, users who managed to get their hands on the latest phones have been experiencing issues connecting the S23 series to Android Auto.

According to the story by Giz China, the difficulty first appeared on the Android Auto Help Google Community and Reddit. 9to5Google reported the issue, and users of the three models in the Galaxy S23 series corroborated the reports.

Effects of the January Update on Pixel Phone Pairing with BLE Devices

This gave rise to the suggestion that this might be similar to the issue experienced by Pixel phones with the January update. This issue prevented mobile phones from pairing with BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) devices, as also noted in an article by Phone Arena.

Of course, users have already attempted to troubleshoot the problem but have yet to succeed. Although the issue can be bypassed by manually connecting to the device via Bluetooth, this is the only solution.

Unresolved Issues with Previous S-Series Models

Consumers report that other phones with Android Auto functions do not have connection issues, even those using the same cars, indicating that the problem lies with the S23 series. To make matters worse, some customers suggested that the issue existed in previous series models but was never fixed.

As users wait for Samsung and Google to offer an official solution, those with the Galaxy S23 will have to manually make do with connecting to the device. It remains to be seen how quickly the two companies will respond to this problem and whether or not a resolution will be offered in the near future.

Frustration Grows as Samsung and Google Remain Silent on Android Auto Connection Issue

Samsung and Google have not released any updates to fix the problem. This situation is later lamented by the fact that other brands can connect seamlessly to the Android Auto function despite running the same update as the S23 series.

Hopefully, Samsung and Google are aware of the issue and working on a solution. Until then, users will have to wait and see how soon they can expect a solution to their connection issues.
