Nintendo Switch players are getting two new GameCube remasters, including the "Baten Kaitos Origins."
Shortly after the arrival of the GameCube action-adventure, "Metroid Prime," the Japanese gaming giant is now planning to release another remaster to Switch.
Nintendo Switch GameCube Remasters
As per a recent report by Venture Beat, the Japanese console maker announced that it is bringing one of the iconic games under the GameCube platform to the current-generation Switch.
Nintendo has remastered some of its GameCube offerings, allowing Switch gamers to get their hands on these nostalgic titles.
In fact, the hit RPG title, the "Tales of Symphonia," is debuting on the handheld gaming console on February 17. And this summer, two more remasters are coming to Switch players.
Nintendo of America announced that two "classic RPGs," which first saw the light of day amid the popularity of the GameCube, are on their way to Switch this summer.
In a recent tweet, Nintendo of America says that "a remastered collection of the classic RPGs that were originally released on Nintendo GameCube" is coming to Switch gamers.

'Baten Kaitos' Remasters on its Way to Switch
ComicBook.com notes in its report that the "Baten Kaitos: Eternal Wings and the Lost Ocean" and its prequel, "the Baten Kaitos Origins" are getting their remastered versions.
Nintendo stitched a remastered collection to bring the two nostalgic RPGs to the Switch sometime this summer. However, the Japanese gaming firm has yet to announce its release date.
The upcoming remastered collection, aptly known as the "Baten Kaitos I & II: HD Remaster, is giving the two RPG titles a second life. Their release on the Switch console comes 20 years after "Eternal Wings and the Lost Ocean" joined the GameCube library.
ComicBook.com highlights that reports last year pointed out that Bandai Namco and Nintendo are working on a new remaster.
The speculations began sprouting like mushrooms after the Japanese website of the game developer posted a job listing for a project that seeks to remaster or remake a 3D action game.
The listings state that they are looking for folks with "HD remastering of 3D backgrounds." Thus, some could not help but think that Nintendo hired Bandai Namco to work on a new remaster collection.
And now, it seems that the remastered collection that the two gaming giants are working on is the arrival of the "Baten Kaitos" to Switch. So it looks like it has been in the works since last year, and this summer, it might finally see the light of day.
