‘Mario Kart 8 Deluxe’ Booster Course Pass DLC: New Tracks and Characters Playable in the Game

Nintendo delivers a new DLC for "Mario Kart 8 Deluxe" gamers this 2023, and it centers on the latest Booster Course Pass update that will come in waves, to bring a total of 48 courses this year. Apart from the new racing grounds to prove one's self in the "Mario Kart" platform, there will also be new characters emerging to compete with the world.

The world of "Mario Kart" is expanding in this latest update from Nintendo, featuring the latest there is to the company's franchise, focusing on the action-packed title.

"Mario Kart Deluxe 8" already released the first three waves of the Booster Course Pass downloadable content to the world, and it now teases Wave 4 to add the latest track to the game. The company revealed this new content via the latest Nintendo Direct showcase, also claiming that this next release would be available by Spring.

The Booster Course Pass DLC is available on the Nintendo e-Shop for $24.99, or users may obtain it via the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack for $49.99 per year.

There are already 24 tracks available via this DLC, and the company claims it will release 24 more in different waves to deliver 48 courses by the end of 2023.

New Tracks, Characters to Expect in the Next Wave

As per the Nintendo Direct showcase, the latest track to arrive is the crowd favorite from "Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island." The next track would center on this setting, featuring the franchise's favorite Yoshiesaurus land, converted into a race track to traverse its twists, turns, jumps, and more surprises in Yoshi's Island.

The next character coming is the pink omnivorous dinosaur from the gaming series, Birdo, which may also appear in different colors like Yoshi, for gamers to choose from including blue, orange, red, and yellow.

"Mario Kart 8 Deluxe" is a fairly old game, and it has been the staple racing game from the Mario franchise since 2017, a title best known for being a Wii U classic. However, its interactive experience, frequent updates, and interconnectedness to the world put it in a spotlight that others cannot top, with Nintendo continuing its development.

There are many content offers from this "Mario Kart" game, and despite the many unlockables and offers, one character is coveted across the world, and it is Gold Mario. If you still have not unlocked Gold Mario, it is fairly easy, and one cool addition to your profile.

Over the past years, the famous Booster Course Pass DLC has released different waves of new content offers from the company, with Wave 2 appearing in 2022.

Now, it is already centered on Wave 4 to bring the latest tracks and characters, among its other offers in the game. "Mario Kart 8 Deluxe's" latest wave will bring the famed Yoshi's Island and the character Birdo, to the game, the only thing to wait for is its release date in the upcoming Spring season, as revealed by Nintendo Direct.
