Safer Internet Day: What is it For?

Safer Internet Day.org states that it has been an annual campaign to promote a more secure online experience.

In fact, this year's Safer Internet Day 2023 campaign is its 20th edition.

As per the SaferInternet.org United Kingdom, it all began in 2004 as the European Union SafeBorders kicked off the project nearly two decades ago.

And since then, the campaign has grown exponentially, expanding to roughly 180 territories in various parts of the world.

The key objective of the campaign is to spread utmost awareness of prevalent issues hounding our internet experience, such as cyberbullying and online addiction.

Raising the necessary awareness on these issues should help online folks better protect themselves from looming harm while browsing the internet.
