LG Electronics has just announced the availability of several Apple-based apps on its webOS Hub platform. This is great news for the company's millions of customers.
The South Korean tech juggernaut has announced that the Apple TV app, Apple Music, AirPlay, and HomeKit will now be available on its webOS Hub in over 100 countries around the world.
With a diverse range of content and innovative features, this move is expected to provide audiences with a more convenient and enjoyable viewing experience.
LG Expands webOS Hub Entertainment Options
The webOS Hub now has 10 times more brands available than in early 2021, thanks to the addition of these Apple-based apps, the firm says in a news release.
To make this a reality and provide its users with more value, LG has been putting forth a lot of effort with 200 different partners. The dedicated Apple TV app can access the Apple TV+ service directly from the webOS Hub's Home Screen.
According to 9to5Mac, companies like Seiki, Eko, Stream System, Konka, Aiwa, and Hyundai are part of the expansion. However, there are some restrictions on which TVs from those brands will add support for these Apple features, which is to be expected.

As a bonus, 100 million songs, playlists, and music videos are now available to Apple Music subscribers without ad interruptions. This entails that users can enjoy watching music videos, listening to their favorite music, and discovering new artists from the comfort of their LG TV.
More from the LG Expansion
Since the webOS Hub is compatible with AirPlay, users can stream content from their iPhone, iPad, or Mac computers to their TV screens using the hub.
Users can conveniently share photos, videos, and other multimedia content on the large screen thanks to this feature, which provides a seamless experience.
In addition, Apple Home is enabled on TVs that are powered by webOS Hub, which means that users can control their TV by using the Apple Home app and Siri voice commands.
