The new Instagram Notes feature is finally being rolled out in the United States.
The U.S. market received the new enhancement late compared to other countries.
Instagram Notes was first launched in December 2022.
After months of waiting, U.S.-based users can now try the new Instagram Notes.
However, since the feature is still being rolled out, only a limited number of Americans can try the in-app enhancement.
Instagram Notes Rolls Out in the US and Other Countries!
According to 9To5Mac's latest report, Adam Mosseri, the Instagram head, confirmed that the new Notes feature rolled out in the U.S.

He added that it would also be launched in Japan, and the United Kingdom, as well as EU countries.
"Notes are now available in Europe and Japan. Check it out and let me know what you think!" said Mosseri via his official Twitter post.
For those wondering why the U.S. and other mentioned countries waited longer, this is because they have stricter privacy regulations.
Instagram tends to roll out features slowly because the company wants to receive selected users' feedback before all IG users can access the enhancements.
Mosseri said that the new Instagram Notes received positive comments from users, especially teenagers.
How to Use Instagram Notes
If you are among the lucky American users who can access the new Instagram Notes, you can easily enjoy this feature.
The official Instagram Help Center stated that this enhancement allows users to share updates as short text posts (up to 60 characters).
This will allow them to inform their friends about their status while having their personal space.
To use this feature, all you have to do is follow these steps:
- First, click the DM option located in the top-right corner of your screen.
- After that, click your profile picture.
- Once you are there, tap on the "Share What's On Your Mind" button and type in your note.
- Then, click the "Share" option.
