The new Instagram Quiet Mode feature finally arrived.
IG and other social media platforms have lots of screen time management functionalities that could help users take a break from the internet.
But the new Quiet Mode is different from theirs.
Many users tend to experience anxiety whenever they take a break from social media because they won't be able to inform all their friends about their time off.
This is what the new Quiet Mode aims to solve.
New Instagram Quiet Mode Rolls Out
According to Tech Crunch's latest report, the new Quiet Mode will silence notifications, set your status to "In Quiet Mode," and reply to direct messages for you.

"Your profile's activity status will change to let people know and we'll automatically send an auto-reply when someone sends you a DM," said Meta via its official Newsroom post.
Based on these features, Quiet Mode works like an autopilot since it will inform your contacts and ensure that other IG users know you are taking a break.
As of press time, the new Quiet Mode is available in selected countries; Canada, the United Kingdom, the United States, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand.
Meta said they would soon roll out this new screen time management feature to other markets.
How to Use Quiet Mode
The new Quiet Mode feature focuses mainly on young users.
This means that children will receive a message suggesting to activate the feature. The Quiet Mode prompt will usually appear at night.
Adult users will also receive the Quiet Mode prompt, but as frequently as kids.
Once you activate the Quiet Mode, you can change its default time (10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.) to your desired schedule of break.
Meta is still enhancing Instagram and its other platforms to give users better experiences.
Recently, Instagram's Twitter-like feature called "Notes" was rolled out to more users.
We also reported that the new Instagram transparency tool had been introduced to help creators know if their content is hidden.
