The popular YouTube Premium service is now being offered by Google Fi, the internet service provider owned by the search engine giant.
Consumers prefer watching videos, listening to music, and accessing various content without having to deal with annoying ads.
This is why the YouTube Premium subscription service is quite popular. Now, Google Fi confirmed that its users can enjoy the ad-free YT service for free in one year.
How to Get Free YouTube Premium?
According to Business Standard's latest report, Google Fi Premium Unlimited Plus subscribers can enjoy the YouTube Premium service without any cost.

This means that you can save $119.99 (the cost of the YT ad-free service) if you ever want to try the subscription service.
"Now, we're offering a simple, single subscription to Fi that provides connectivity, cloud storage, and entertainment for the entire family," said Google's Global PR Lead for Stadia Patrick Seybold via The Verge.
He explained that they are doing this since wireless consumers are now opting for unlimited plans to enhance their games, media, and internet experiences.
But there's actually a catch to the YouTube Premium service offer of Google Fi.
What's the Catch?
If you are not yet a Google Fi consumer, then you need to know some things about its Unlimited Plus.
This broadband subscription service is considered to be Google Fi's most expensive tier. If you want to try it, you will be paying $65 per month.
But this price is reasonable since the Google Fi Unlimited Plus service offers 50GB of high-speed data access, unlimited text and voice, and other perks.
If you are already a Google Fi Unlimited subscriber, there are still some requirements you need to achieve, such as the following:
- Your Unlimited Plus subscription should be active for at least a year.
- You need to ensure that you are not on the Google Workspace account, which blocks YouTube.
- You must be over 13 years old if you want to get the free YouTube Premium service.
- Google Fi has been on a roll for the past months as it continuously strives to improve its service.
Recently, Google Fi added 5G for Android smartphones.
Meanwhile, its parent-company, Google launched the Matter, its smart home initiative with Google Fi and Nest support.
