Nintendo just released the latest firmware update for the Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch Lite, and Nintendo Switch OLED.
The 15.0.1 is currently live at the moment according to the video game company. The console maker also revealed a series of improvements and bug fixes in the most recent patch.
Nintendo Switch Update 15.0.1 Patch Notes
According to a report by Comicbook, Nintendo has finally addressed the "2181-1000" issue where in Switch, players encounter an error after accessing the DLC of a game.
It should be noted that they play the downloadable content on a non-primary console. Aside from that, the Japanese gaming firm has also launched fixes for screenshot problems in-game.
This particular issue prevents players from capturing a shot of a game or a cameo. However, Nintendo says it's only limited to some games, so it won't be a problem for other Switch gamers.
Aside from that, the 15.0.1 Switch update also involves stability improvements for the overall console system. Nintendo wants to improve the user's experience through this patch, and it's the only way that will work this time.
To sum it up, here are the full patch notes for the newest Nintendo Switch update.
- Resolved an issue causing Error Code: 2181-1000 to appear when playing DLC from a console other than your primary console.
- Resolved an issue preventing screenshots during specific in-game scenes for some games.
- General system stability improvements to enhance the user's experience.
At this point, we haven't known some of the additional information for the 15.0.1 update, yet we might hear them soon from dataminers.
In the next few days, it will be a hit-or-miss for every Switch player. We could learn new details about the recent patch or not.
