Instagram Blocks Kanye West
Before Twitter, Meta's Instagram suspended West for using racist language, another form of anti-Semitic approach. As Fox29 spotted in various reports, the rapper has been exchanging conversations with co-rapper Diddy about the "White Lives" matter shirt.
Kanye was seen wearing the apparel during Paris Fashion week. To date, the question can no longer be seen on Instagram, but viewers said that the American Jewish Committee condemned the action of the rapper.
According to the organization, what Ye posted was "deeply troubling, dangerous, and antisemitic." Additionally, it said that it should not be an excuse for the promotion of this "white supremacist" slogans and antisemitism against Jewish people.
This is not the first time that Instagram blocked Kanye West's account on the site. According to Tech Times, the platform suspended the 45-year-old artist for 24 hours back in March.
At the time, the tech site reported that Ye has been throwing racial slurs at Trevor Noah, the talk show host behind "Today Show."
The tv host talked about Ye's harassment of his former wife Kim Kardashian. Moreover, Noah was also discussing the divorce that would take place between Kanye and Kim. He urged the fans to refrain from making jokes about the issue.
Noah also said that it was only a publicity stunt pulled by Ye and Kardashian. He claimed that it's only one way to draw the attention of the public to them.
