Android 13 QPR1 Beta 2 for Google Pixel phones is finally here. It notably improves the media player navigation, along with other handy refinements.
The search engine giant appears to be working to further improve the next Android 13 update as it dishes out Beta 2 for Android 13 QPR1.
Android 13 QPR1 Beta 2 Arrives on Google Pixel Phones
According to a recent report by XDA Developers, the new update brings a few handy refinements to various Pixel devices, such as the Pixel 4a, Pixel 4a 5G, Pixel 5, Pixel 5a, and Pixel 6.
The release of the Android 13 QPR1 Beta 2 comes shortly after Google rolled out the first beta last September. The news outlet notes that the arrival of the second beta coincidentally comes on the eve of the Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro debut.
XDA Developers highlights that the new beta update of Android 13 expectedly addresses tons of bugs. But on top of that, it also offers various improvements in the overall experience of its users.
It is worth noting that QPR versions of Android only roll out to beta testers. It is where the renowned tech giant tests out its software refinements before it is officially released to the public.

As per the latest report by 9to5 Google, the new Android 13 beta update introduced a new version of the Media Player UI. Although the change is only visual, it helps improve the overall experience.
It is worth noting that some Android users have complained about the design of the Media Player from the notification. To be more precise, some were making a fuss about the tiny circle scrubber, making navigating pretty frustrating for some folks.
But this time, the latest Android beta replaces that circle progress scrubber with a vertical pill-shaped design. So instead of the circle, the new look now gives users a taller but slimmer option.
The new design of the Media Player is now only available on the new Android 13 QPR1 Beta 2. And as such, if you are using a Pixel phone with a stable version of the mobile, you might have to wait for a few months.
9to5 Google notes in its report that the QPR1 is likely hitting the stable channel before the year ends or in December.
