According to Engadget's latest report, the new Smart Gx Bottle of Gatorade has a cap that is integrated with a ring of LEDs.

These LED lights will allow you to monitor your daily hydration. On the other hand, you can also recharge the bottle using a USB cable.

Gatorade explained that the smart water bottle's body is dishwasher safe. However, you need to remove the electronic cap to avoid possible electrocution.

Aside from this, the Smart Gx Bottle can also use Gatorade pods, allowing users to have more options when it comes to replenishing electrolytes and carbohydrates.

This new smart water bottle also has its own iOS-exclusive Gx App. The application features training and nutrition programs, as well as provides recovery recommendations.

As of press time, Gatorade sells its latest Smart Gx Bottle Kit via its official website. You can either purchase this smart water bottle individually or as a team.

When you say for a team, Gatorade allows sports groups to purchase the Smart Gx Bottle in bulk. They can buy up to 30 units for their players.

On the other hand, Gatorade also offers a customization service for each player's Gx Pod. The sports beverage company already reduced the price of its Smart Gx Bottle.

From $91.98, interested consumers can now buy this advanced smart water bottle for only $69.99, allowing them to save 24%.
