Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, conducted a poll on Twitter among his 107 million followers about his ideas for a peace agreement between Ukraine and Russia. The response from the European nation was swift and full of anger, according to a report by The Independent.
Both Ukrainian officials and lawmakers criticized Musk's proposals for resolving the crisis, which has been ongoing for eight months since Russia invaded Ukraine.

Zelensky: Which Elon Musk Do You Like More?
President Volodymyr Zelensky polled his 6.6 million Twitter followers to determine which version of Elon Musk they preferred: the "One who supports Ukraine" or "One who supports Russia." More than 83 percent of the one million respondents supported Ukraine.
"Redo elections of annexed regions under UN supervision. Russia leaves if that is will of the people," Musk suggested on Twitter.
He added that Crimea was formally part of Russia since 1783 and that Ukraine must remain "neutral."
However, these suggestions were not met with a warm welcome as he was accused of promoting a Pro-Russian peace agreement.
"This is highly likely to be the outcome in the end - just a question of how many die before then. Also worth noting that a possible, albeit unlikely, outcome from this conflict is nuclear war," Musk said in another tweet.
Musk's remarks have surprised many people because he has been supporting Ukraine ever since Russia's invasion took place in February.
In fact, SpaceX's Starlink satellite internet has been keeping at least 150,000 Ukrainians connected daily as they remain to live in the war-torn European country. A Ukrainian government official revealed this data in a tweet in May.
Vice Prime Minister Mykhailo Fedorov posted on Twitter that Starlink's help has been significant to Ukrainians ever since the invasion.
Elon Musk's internet service consists of a network of about 2,000 satellites in low Earth orbit. This was built to deliver high-speed internet wherever the user is located.
