The Tesla window automatic system flaw concerned the giant EV maker, leading to a massive recall.
Since the issue is quite serious, the American automaker had no choice but to re-collect millions of electric cars.
For the past few years, Tesla has been making drastic efforts to ensure that its EV models are safe for use. But, problems with its electric cars still appeared.
Previously, the phantom braking problem also led to a recall after NHTSA discovered that the issue could cause a false forward-collision warning.
Now, the new automatic system issue on Tesla EVs also forced Tesla to recall more than one million vehicles.

For example, if a finger is in its way, the EV's window will still try to close, which can cause harm to the driver or passengers.
"A closing window may exert excessive force by pinching a driver or passenger before retracting, increasing the risk of injury," said the giant automaker in its notice, which was sent to NHTSA.
Although this window automatic system defect created a massive recall, Tesla said the issue could be fixed with a software update.
Affected Tesla Models, Other Details
InsideEVs reported that the affected Tesla EV models are those manufactured between 2017 and 2022.
The automaker confirmed that it would roll out an OTA (over-the-air) update in the following months to fix the issue.
Owners that have EVs manufactured between the mentioned dates will receive a notification via mail as early as Nov. 15.
As of writing, Tesla hasn't recorded any crashes, injuries, or deaths related to the window automatic system defect.
Although this is the case, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said that the issue still fails to comply with the requirements of a federal motor vehicle safety standard on power windows.
Recently, we reported that around 10% of Tesla Model Y sold back in August were put on Australia's "used listing."
Previously, the Tesla Giga Texas was able to deliver its 10,000th Model Y.
