Xbox Series X restocks are coming to the South Asian market following the two huge sales events that will kick off in the region: the Great Indian Festival and the Big Billion Days event.
Flipkart and Amazon are the two flagship stores that will host the restock for Microsoft's next-gen gaming console. Here's what you need to know about this.
Xbox Series X Availability
According to a report by ABP Live on Thursday, Sept. 22, Flipkart and Amazon have introduced exclusive perks for their subscribers as part of the Great Indian Festival and Big Billion Days sales.
The Prime and Flipkart Plus members took the chance to score an Xbox Series X console ahead of the regular customers.
Speaking of regular buyers, the two stores are expected to roll out stocks for Microsoft's console on Friday, Sept. 23.
The price of the Xbox Series X will reportedly sit at Rs 52,990 ($656) on both platforms. It should be noted that the delivery schedules for the orders could take place from Sept. 29 and Oct. 3. However, it's not yet guaranteed, and it will depend on your current location.
The Xbox Series X was readily available for purchase at 12 midnight of September. Still, some fans are wondering why Amazon and Flipkart are not yet selling Sony's PS5 units.
Is There PS5 Restock?
The same report from ABP Live reveals that the top-selling console in the US is nowhere to be found on Flipkart and Amazon as of writing.
If you want to pre-order the console in India, you can start placing them in your cars at 12 pm on Sept. 26. You can choose if you want to buy the standard PlayStation 5 console or the disc-less version.
Since the demand for this console remains at a very high rate, you need to be early in the queue. Logging in ahead of other customers on the website so you can check out the PS5 right away.
For Indian customers, the PS5 (regular edition) will be priced at Rs 49,990 ($618). The Digital Edition is cheaper if you want a bang for your buck. It only costs Rs 39,990 or $495.
When the PS5 restock comes, don't forget to visit other stores in the country, including Croma, Games The Shop, Vijay Sales, ShopAtSC, and of course, Flipkart and Amazon.
At the moment, we are not yet sure if, in the following months, there will be an increase in the pricing of Sony's gaming console in India.
Last month, Windows Central reported that the PS5 prices shot up because of high inflation rates in the US. Across several markets, such as the UK, Japan, China, Canada, and Mexico, customers felt the impact.
