Nintendo Is Hosting a 40-Minute Nintendo Direct Today; Here's How, Where to Watch

The Sept. 13 Nintendo Direct is focused on Nintendo Switch games launching this winter.

Nintendo is set to premiere another full 40-minute Nintendo Direct today, Tuesday, Sept. 13. According to the video game company, the Nintendo Direct livestream will be discussing Nintendo's game lineup to be released later this year.

The said Nintendo Direct would air on Sept. 13 at 7 a.m. Pacific and 10 a.m. Eastern. Like previous Directs, the stream will last roughly 40 minutes which is 10 minutes lengthier than the "Splatoon 3" Nintendo Direct hosted last Aug. 10.

How to Watch the Nintendo Direct

Nintendo fans can watch the latest Nintendo Direct on Nintendo's official YouTube and Twitch channels. Do not worry; the Direct will be archived so fans can access new information at any given time. There is no need to trouble yourself waiting very early because the Nintendo Direct can be viewed at any time after the set premiere.

Gematsu tells us that the Nintendo Direct presentation in the United Kingdom will not be live streamed like what fans previously expected. The Nintendo Direct will be available as an on-demand video at 8:00 a.m. PT / 11:00 a.m. ET on YouTube as a sign of respect during the nation's mourning period following Queen Elizabeth II's death.

Back on Sept. 9, rumors of a Nintendo Direct delay first spread on the Internet. This is after sources from Nintendo's Tokyo headquarters relayed unofficial information about postponing the much-awaited stream. According to Gamerant, the upcoming Nintendo Direct stream will be highlighting official news about "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" sequel, among other titles coming next winter.

What to Expect from the Nintendo Direct

Nintendo Life reported that physical Nintendo stores in New York would be holding fun and exciting activities to celebrate the Direct. According to the report, this will be the first time since the pandemic that such a face-to-face event will be hosted at the Nintendo NY Store.

In a tweet by Nintendo NY, they announced that the event will only have limited entry as well as a first-come, first-served basis. Back in August, the same Nintendo store held a similar controlled event to celebrate the announcement of Splatoon 3.

Many Nintendo fans are rooting for the video game company to release some more details about the nearing release of "Pokemon Scarlet & Violet." The newest Pokemon game series is set to be released on Nov. 18. We have already been informed that "Scarlet & Violet" will be featuring new Pokemons and variants, moves and game mechanics, and even a new region called Paldea.

Moreover, many are also anticipating that the Nintendo Direct will be revealing major details about "Breath of the Wild 2." Games to be announced at today's Nintendo Direct are believed to arrive at the console later this year to early 2023.

As of the moment, Nintendo has been pretty keen on keeping most of the new information away from leaks. Hang tight as the Nintendo Direct will be premiering in less than 3 hours. Do you have other expectations for today's Direct? Let us know!
