Apple's M1 Max MacBook Pro gets a massive price cut of up to $400, making the high-end and ultra-powerful device more affordable than ever.

The massive discount deal on the MacBook Pro comes two days after the much-awaited Apple Far Out event, which is set to debut the next-generation iPhone 14 lineup.
Apple M1 Max MacBook Pro Price Discount
Although the upcoming event of Apple put the shimmer of the spotlight on the all-new flagship smartphone, it does not necessarily mean that we are no longer getting massive discounts for the current MacBook offerings.
In fact, as per the latest report by Apple Insider, both the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models, which sport the ultra-powerful M1 Max chip, are now cheaper than ever.
Besides the M1 Max-powered MacBook Pro, the much cheaper but still relatively expensive M1 Pro counterparts are also getting a significant price cut.

The 16-inch MacBook Pro features the M1 Max with a whopping 2 terabytes (TB) of storage, gets a $400 discount. With that, the laptop that flaunts a 10-core CPU and 24-core GPU now only retails for $3,699.
Meanwhile, the 1 TB variant of the 16-inch M1 Max MacBook Pro now only sells for $3,299 thanks to its $400 price cut.
On top of these 16-inch options, the latest discount deals also slash the pricing of the 14-inch MacBook Pro.
For instance, the M1 Max option, which also boasts ten cores of CPU and 24 cores of GPU, along with 2 TB of storage only goes for $3,099 after its $400 discount.
The M1 Pro version of the 14-inch MacBook Pro in sleek Space Gray color only sells for $1,999 on BHPhotoVideo.
The discounts on these M1 Max and M1 Pro MacBook Pro models come shortly before Apple introduces its new products, including the much-awaited iPhone 14.
M2 Max MacBook Pro in the Works?
While these M1 Max and M1 Pro powered MacBook is currently on limited discounted pricing, it looks like Apple is working to release its successor.
According to a recent news story by Mac Rumors, Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman believes that Apple is already testing out the upcoming 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models with M2 Pro and M2 Max chips.
The online news outlet notes in its story that some earlier predictions suggest that the new M2 Max and M2 Pro chips are going to be the first-ever 3nm chips of the iPhone maker.
However, it is worth noting that the more recent reports point out that the upcoming M2 variants are likely to be 5nm chips.
