According to the report of MacRumors, there is much information regarding the new 15-inch MacBook Air that is coming in the future, and it also comes from speculations and leakers in the industry.
It brings different information on what to expect on the new device, as it would also be the first time the "Air" line is getting a more prominent display.
New Design and Size
A new design and size are coming for the alleged MacBook Air 15-inch, and it brings a bigger screen that features an apparent mini-LED display for users to enjoy. MacRumors said that the screen itself would retain a 15-inch display, while its body would be at around 15.2 inches, as it will have thin bezels and a more nimble make.
The new design would come close to the 2022 MacBook Air, revealed in the Apple Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 22, featuring the new ports and face from the 2021 MacBook Pro.
M2: New Release
There would be two models available for the users to purchase: the M2 version, which will have a 35W adapter, and the M2 Pro chip, which will come with a 67W power brick. According to Ming-Chi Kuo, these are some of the information for the new MacBook Air, and it is something that Apple focuses on after its subsequent updates for the MacBook Pro.
Previous releases of the M-series chips bring a better benchmark, and the M2 significantly changes this, according to leaks.
Launch Date
The launch date is coming in the next year, and it is based on leaks from Ming-Chi Kuo, as well as other leakers in the industry. MacBook Air's 15-inch version will bring the device by 2023, but it is still speculation about its release, as there was a previous release this year, and it might not be delivering a new computer next year.
Nevertheless, the leaks regarding the 12-inch or the smaller version of the MacBook also get an unknown release date, or it will come from Apple.
