"Halo Infinite" is removing a Season 2 Multiplayer game mode from its rotating lineup to make way for new modes to arrive in the game, focusing on offering new experiences for all soldiers. 343 Industries recently announced this on their latest news of the upcoming offers of the game, with the update arriving in the coming week.
'Halo Infinite' to Remove Season 2 Multiplayer Game Mode
343 Industries announced via a tweet via Halo's Twitter account that it is debuting new game modes and experiences for the game. With all the new adventures to arrive for gamers, there is one significant game mode that is losing its access to the public, and it is the Last Spartan Standing, which was initially introduced as part of Season 2.
"Halo Infinite's" Last Spartan Standing is a PvP game mode from the Lone Wolves season where 12 players arrive in an arena and have a specific number of lives to go on to fight each other in a winner takes all setup. It is like a battle royale mixed with an arena shooter game, and users have to eliminate enemies until they run out of lives to spawn and head back to the game.
Why is 'Halo Infinite' Removing the Game Mode?
According to Halo Waypoint, the game is removing this content to make way for another set of experiences for "Halo Infinite" in the coming update.
343 Industries is preparing to offer the Ranked Doubles and Team Doubles from its rotating lineup that pushed the Last Spartan Standing game mode out of the modes, focusing on new gameplays.
'Halo Infinite' and its Content
"Halo Infinite" is the latest title there is to the famous game franchise from the then developer, Bungie, Inc., with its publishers being the famous Microsoft set for Xbox. Currently, 343 Industries develops the game, with the latest title under the company's production was first released the game during the holiday season of 2021.
Players awaited the massive update to "Halo," and it is the arrival of the multiplayer co-op of its campaign mode to play together in accessing specific missions and accomplishing it efficiently with a team. However, those who could not wait for the update have focused on the use of glitches from the game's initial version to access the multiplayer mode.
Still, 343 Industries were able to release Season 2 of the title, which brought what gamers have been anticipating since its release, along with many game modes available for all.
However, like most of its modes introduced to gamers, some will face its removal from the lineup to make way for other experiences that developers have in store for all. Nevertheless, the new game modes for "Halo Infinite" will offer different encounters for gamers in the title, but not quite like the Last Spartan Standing.
