Vici Gaming Announces Roster Reshuffle for TI11 China Qualifiers

Vici Gaming reveals roster change in preparation for TI11 China Qualifiers.

A few weeks before the China TI Qualifiers commence Vici Gaming surprises fans with a major roster overhaul. In a report from AFK Gaming, Vici Gaming has released support players Zhao 'Yds' Jiayi and Chen 'Victoria' Guanhong.

This move from the Chinese team follows an underwhelming Dota Pro Circuit season, bringing them at the bottom of most points in the current season. Vici Gaming is currently in the second division for next season and has a slim chance of qualifying for the International in Singapore.

Vici Gaming Release Pos 4 and 5 Players Before China TI Window

After releasing its position 4 and 5 players, Vici Gaming made it public that they are adding Pan 'Frisk' Yi and Li 'b a b' Kongbo to complete the crew. With this reshuffle, Zhou 'Yang' Haiyang is now assigned to be their new position 5 player.

In a recent announcement on Weibo, the team assured its fans that they were locked in coming to the qualifiers. The post also mentioned how their previous line-up did not have enough chemistry to go through and win earlier games.

The team was also firm in saying that they can no longer hold on with its old line-up with the looming and fiercely competitive TI preselection stage. They emphasized that the major roster adjustment is mainly because of the said reason.

The addition of 'Frisk' and 'b a b' can be a potential boost for Vici Gaming. The two youngsters have been making names of their own in the last months. Last month, offlaner 'b a b' reached a mythical 10,000 MMR. Meanwhile, 'Frisk' led his previous teams to win FMWH Dota2 Championship Season 3 and StarLadder ImbaTV Dota 2 Minor Season 3.

Here is the newest roster of Vici Gaming after the recent reshuffle:

  1. Yang "Erika" Shaohan
  2. Guo "Xm" Hongcheng
  3. Li "b a b" Kongbo
  4. Pan "Frisk" Yi
  5. Zhou "Yang" Haiyang

This new roster will be debuting at The International 2022: China Qualifier. In the qualifiers, teams who participated in the current DPC season and failed to qualify for a direct invite to TI11 will be facing each other for another chance to join The International group stages.

In the China TI Qualifier, only one team can be qualified for The International.

This will be Vici Gaming's final roster adjustment as the qualifiers disqualify teams that have replaced more than two players from their third DPC tour roster.

Tough Competition Awaits Vici Gaming in China TI Qualifiers

Vici Gaming is up for a really challenging China TI Qualifiers as they will be facing fellow Chinese teams who recently had their own roster revamps. Teams RNG, Xtreme Gaming, and Invictus Gaming will surely bring tough competition to the China TI window.
