The Upcoming 'Dota 2' The International 2022 Tournament Release Date has been Revealed
According to the story by Dot Esports, the premier annual event for "Dota 2" called The International 2022 is now fast approaching. Fans can attend The Playoffs for the event in Singapore from October 20 to 23.
The Finals for the event will be held between October 29 to 30, and those that want to attend can purchase their tickets on August 13. As per the publication, despite fans eager to join the event, the prices of attending the event can be quite expensive.
Interested Participants can Purchase Tickets on August 4
The news was announced through a Valve blog post on August 4. It was noted that the tickets will be sold off in just a single wave which is expected to start at 10 AM SGT or 9 PM CT during the date.
Sales will be limited to just five per customer for every day of the event. The excitement surrounding the event has resulted in unexpected high prices for the event's tickets.
Total Costs of Attending the Event Could Total $615
As per the publication, this was described as an "extra blow for those flying in from all four corners of the globe." Gamers that are planning to attend the event, however, will have to buy a separate ticket for every day of The Playoffs.
The tickets will cost attendees $63 per day, which will result in $615 for those that want to attend the whole event, including The Finals. The Finals alone are expected to cost $360, and when flights and accommodation are factored in, the prices could soar up even more.
Fans Express Concerns Regarding the Prices of the Event
It was noted that people coming from Europe, the US, Indonesia, and Singaporean locals have all decided to express their concerns regarding the prices. The article notes, however, that at this stage closing towards the event, it is unlikely that the prices will be changed.
Valve has also announced that it has opened its doors for organizers to put in their requests should they be interested in running a League or Major for the 2023 DPC session. Ticket prices, however, have become a concern regarding how they could potentially impact next year's Majors.

Schedule for 2023 Majors Revealed
The format for the upcoming year is said to be similar to the one that is expected to happen this year with the exception of each regional league division which will run for three weeks instead of six. The events will reportedly have their own separate schedules.
As per Valve, they have given a confirmation that the Majors will happen in February, April, and even June.
