Samsung is famous for bringing its flagship devices and other releases with a chip it developed from its R&D, and that is with the Exynos chip that came for the Galaxy smartphones in the past. Exynos devices launched alongside the Qualcomm internals, and these are two offers of the company to their phones.
However, Samsung is turning its back on the Exynos chips to focus solely on the Qualcomm internals towards its future release says reports.
Samsung is Dropping the Exynos Chips for Qualcomm
Tech analyst and insider, Ming-Chi Kuo, revealed that there would be an upcoming change in Samsung's Galaxy smartphone lineup, and it would focus on a single chip release with Qualcomm. Kuo said that Qualcomm will be Samsung's "sole processor supplier" in the coming releases, and the company would focus on the said devices coming soon.
Kuo further said that Samsung is dropping the Exynos 2300 from its company's 4nm chip manufacturing as it cannot compete with the likes of the SM8550 from TSMC. The company is changing its smartphone processors for the better, and this is despite the company dropping the ball on its chip manufacturing side which was a massive part of Samsung devices before.

Samsung Galaxy Powered by Qualcomm Chips
Samsung's Galaxy smartphones are to soon see a performance and computing power from the famous Qualcomm, and it will let go of its homegrown manufacturing, Exynos. For now, these are only rumors and speculations, with Samsung having the final say in these changes. There is an expectation for an Unpacked event this August to bring new devices from the company.
Samsung and its Galaxy Smartphones
Samsung is best known for being a long-time partner of Qualcomm for its smartphone releases, including the early Galaxy devices available to the world. Its long partnership stems from early smartphone releases until the present, and the new device from Samsung still features the Qualcomm chipset for the rugged Galaxy XCover6 Pro with the Snapdragon 778.
However, it is not the only Samsung Galaxy smartphone that runs with Qualcomm chips, and the company has massive reliance on the American chip manufacturer for their devices. On the other hand, different regions or locations like the United Kingdom and South Korea, receive options like the Exynos chip for their use.
Nevertheless, it is always two versions for the Galaxy devices, both the Qualcomm and Exynos to power them.
Now, it may be a different case for Samsung, as it would focus on Qualcomm alone for the remainder of its releases, and it seems ready to drop its Exynos. It has been a massive run for the Exynos chip, and it remains Samsung's processor for its devices, something it uniquely made and delivered with great performance to the public.
