Airbnb is funding the "world's craziest spaces," giving away a total of $10 million to help these "out of this world" listing ideas come to life.
The home rental platform, Airbnb, plans to fund a total of 100 of the "world's craziest spaces" in hopes to make these wild ideas a real listing that its users could book someday.
Airbnb's 'World's Craziest Spaces'
As per a news story by Business Insider, Airbnb is now open to submission of crazy ideas as part of its OMG! Fund project.
Not to put pressure on you, but Airbnb says that the crazy plans will have to go through an "expert panel."
It should determine which among the submissions makes it to the top 100 list.
The home rental platform will be dividing its $10 million funding to the entries that made it past the scrutinizing eyes of the experts.
Therefore, the winning applicants are lucky enough to get $100,000 funding straight from Airbnb to make the idea a reality.
According to a recent report by Surface Mag, the panel includes architect Koichi Takada, style icon Iris Apfel, and Kristie Wolfe, the creator of whimsical listings on Airbnb.
The CEO of Airbnb tweeted: "We want to make it easier to create more of these homes."
A recent tweet from the Airbnb boss also explains that "if your idea is selected, we'll ask you to share your vision in more detail with designs and blueprints."
Chesky went on to invite his followers on Twitter to apply to its all-new OMG! Fund. The CEO notes that the deadline for applications is until July 22.
So, if you are interested in building one of the most remarkably crazy spaces, you have less than a month to join.

Airbnb Weird Listings
Business Insider notes that Airbnb actually lists some of the weirdest home designs.
Who would have thought that you could sleep inside a massive potato? But thanks to Airbnb you could do just that.
If that was not crazy enough for you, the rental platform also offers an out-of-this-world UFO listing. But not an actual one, though.
A yellow submarine Airbnb offering has also become the talk of the town on social media.
These crazy spaces garner massive engagement on Instagram and TikTok. And the fear of missing out (FOMO) pushes numerous people to try them out themselves.
This time around, it appears that Airbnb wants more of these odd spaces - an addition of a hundred, to be exact.
