Chevrolet Blazer EV: First Photo Revealed by CEO
The Chair and CEO of General Motors, Mary Barra, shared the first image of the upcoming electric vehicle under the Chevrolet brand. It is the new Chevy Blazer EV that comes with the Ultium platform. No further information came with the executive's tweet, but it already brings much of what is expected from the new electric vehicle.
It is a full-sized SUV with a broad and massive body and is larger than the Lyriq crossover in terms of its make. It also shows an oversized hood with no engine, so it is an additional space for cargo if it would not fit in the back.

GM's Ultium Powers the Chevrolet Blazer EV
The Chevy Blazer EV will get its power from the Ultium platform, a known under chassis and battery program of the company that comes to its EVs. The new Chevy Blazer EV is the latest addition to the growing electric fleet of the company, focusing on the mini hatchback, the new 2024 Chevrolet Silverado EV electric pickup, and the mentioned SUV.
GM's Upcoming Electric Vehicles
GM is one of the leading electric vehicle manufacturers in the country, and it is because of the many subsidiary companies and brands that each has its take on EVs. One of the leading vehicles in its lineup is the Chevy Bolt EV, which brings a refresh to its upcoming latest release, and it updates the vehicle's features and looks.
One of the luxury brands under GM is also one of the earliest announced EVs of the company, and the Cadillac Lyriq is on its way to the market as it is now under production in the Tenessee Plant. The Lyriq is also one of the earliest announced vehicles under the Ultium platform, bringing a drivetrain and battery system that the company designed.
There are also two electric trucks with the Hummer EV and the recently announced 2024 Chevy Silverado EV.
The company's path is to dominate the EV industry with its many units available for all, and it adds another vehicle to its list with the new electric SUV, the Chevy Blazer EV. The release date remains unknown, and the only specs it has is with the Ultium platform that will be the base of its chassis that will power the EV.
