A Tesla Model Y fire accident forced a man to break the electric car's window since he didn't know how to open doors manually from inside.
He decided to do this after the EV's power completely went down. Since he couldn't use the electronic door controls, he decided to kick his way out just to save his life.
The Tesla owner may be lucky since he is strong enough to break his electric car's window. But, this scenario can lead to the deaths of those who don't have enough strength to destroy their cars' windscreens.
Here's what happened to the Tesla Model Y owner after his EV suddenly caught fire.
Tesla Model Y Fire Accident Forces Man To Break Window
Unlike other fire accidents, the Tesla Model Y incident started at the bottom part of the EV's interior. After that, the flames will then move forward to the roof and outside the window.

Thankfully, the incident didn't affect other cars or establishments since firefighters quickly arrived at the scene. According to Electrek's latest report, on Friday, May 20, in North Vancouver, British Columbia.
Jamil Jutha, the owner of the Tesla Model Y, shared his experience, saying that he received an error notification before his EV's power went down.
"I kicked through the window. Everything stops. The power didn't work. The door didn't open. The windows didn't go down so I'm thinking I need to get the f*ck out of this car so I kicked through," said the man.
Experts said that this scenario is a reminder that knowing how to open an EV's doors manually is a must. If the power goes down, drivers need to know how to control their electric cars' doors from the inside.
