Tesla is setting up a new team for a new branch in their team, focusing on the "Litigation Department" that will center mostly on lawsuits and cases against the company. The new team will also launch its cases to other companies or entities which Tesla will fight against and work on in the future.
Elon Musk said that he is now hiring for this new department, and would like to employ the "hardcore streetfighters" for the team.
Elon Musk is Hiring for Tesla's New Litigation Department
Elon Musk shared a thread on Twitter that Tesla is setting up a new department that will help the company gain the upper hand in different cases and build on them for their needs. It is with a new "Litigation Department" that Musk announced online, and he is setting it up by inviting lawyers and people with the right credentials to join its team.
Tesla is looking for "hardcore streetfighters" that will join the team and Musk wants those that have many experiences to handle and push cases from its many ventures and branches within the company. Musk said that he does not want "white-shoe lawyers" on the team, but wants raw talent and those who know how to fight.
Musk also added that "there will be blood."
Tesla is Building its 'Dream Team' for its Cases
Musk is inviting lawyers to send three to five bullet points that "describe the evidence of exceptional ability," and it will be regarding the qualifications they have to join the job.
Tesla and its CEO want them to send their credentials and application via email at "justice@tesla.com," where Musk would screen them and handpick those who would report directly to him.
Tesla and its Many Lawsuits
Tesla and its CEO Elon Musk are done with the claims against them and are now deciding to take them on with a significant force from the company and take the fight to them. One of the recent cases of Tesla is its lawsuit against its former employee and engineer that allegedly stole confidential files from the company regarding its Supercomputer venture.
However, it is not the only problem that Tesla is facing, as it too receives plenty of lawsuits on its daily operations and from the many employees in the company. Another previous lawsuit is about a racial discrimination case from a former employee that sued the company and asked for damages, with a massive sum of $15 million.
Tesla is done staying silent about these kinds of happening and is expanding its Legal Department with a new branch that will handle lawsuits for them.
The point of a Legal Department is to handle cases like this and work on ways to help the company battle them. However, it seems that Tesla's Legal is not enough for its many actions towards it, so Musk and the clean energy company are building toward a Litigation Department that would report directly to the CEO in the future.
