Meanwhile, the most recent U.K. cases are also guys, who are either bisexual or gay.

Because of these details, health experts suggested that human intercourse networks play a major role in the latest infected cases in the U.K., Spain, and Portugal.

The U.K. Health Security Agency (UKHSA) is now warning gay and bisexual men, advising them to check for signs of infections, such as lesions or rashes.

UKHSA added that if ever they experience these symptoms, the best thing they can do is to contact their sexual health service.

Professor Keith Neal, an epidemiologist at the University of Nottingham, said that monkeypox can really spread when people are having intercourse.
